Im sure everyone is gonna come after me for this but me and my kids were stuck in delta park under a bridge for about a week after the frame on my truck broke.. I was pretty nieve my boyfriend was in jail and where I was stuck was very dangerous for a woman with 3 kids i was pretty vulnerbale and these guys kept fucking with my truck so I couldn't leave and then I was drugged by this guy who kept trying to hang out and pretned he wanted to help us and i just got this sick feeling from him but he kept coming back with bags of stuff from the store that he thought he could manipulate me with.. he put ghb in my soda and me and my kids were in the truck when I started to feel it and this dude hopped in and started the truck and was gonna leave with us while I was semi unconscious and ray stopped him.. I dont honestly know what would have happened to us if he wouldnt have been there.. and what he said about his kids mom is also true but she also caused him to owe a lot of money after she and the dude she was sleeping with robbed him and he forgave her that is how they ended up at his moms and before that he had never done drugs before. Sometimes we give up all the wrong things for the wrong people because we love them.. and before we know it we are so far down its hard to dig ourselves back out. That being said he didnt touch drugs until 6 years ago.. some people lose touch real fast out here.. portland is a fucked up place to be on the streets especially as a woman.. with all the negative shit being said I just thought I would share something good..

I’m from Portland. This guy is full of it. They hardly arrest here, and the penalties are almost nothing. There is zero loyalty on the streets, ZERO. All these people will steal from each other when they’re nodding off. All the dudes circle around the girls like prey. There is no community because Portland is too spread out. If you meet someone out there today, it will be a completely different landscape a month from now because people are always on the move. There is nothing but broken souls in the homeless population out here.
Hey if he did or he didn't actually go through with rehab shout-out to the mf either way for potentiality planting the seed of hope in anyone's head that's watching that needed to see someone show how easy it could be to move past saying enough is enough and I want better to showing enough is enough and physically take a step in the direction that leads them to the better they want instead of the direction that burys them deeper. The life and all in it including those words isn't nothing but a real life broken record stuck on replay. Weather he's faking the funk or not, I think he still did something for someone somewhere. Sometimes a little confidence boost smothered in hope is all the push someone out there who has no one to lean on for nothing. Not even simple words of encouragement and sometimes that's all some one needed.
