Born and raised in P-town. Escaped in 2015 right before everyone went insane. I finally had a chance to visit a week ago. You could not pay me enough to move back to that hell hole. The drug problem started in 2016 with they started giving out free needles and had "safe" drug dens. Between the drugs and the horrible government, Portland is a dead city and I don't think it will ever come back.
